photographer for Associated Press (AP) and winner of the Pulitzer Prize

Workshop - Reportage: " 'Gusingo' & Tell what you see."
Saturday and Sunday, April 17th and 18th, 10 a.m. & 6 p.m., at the FFF Office, Weißfrauenstrasse 1, 60311 Frankfurt

People provide countless scenes that tell stories & it is just a matter of seeing them. Taken from the right angle, these images become photojournalism. The workshop is meant to offer an introduction to the basic tenets of classical photojournalism using examples.
A photo should be more than a one-dimensional depiction of reality, it should express a sense of composition that decides on the point in time, the theme, the perspective and the cropping. And it must take a stance as otherwise it would become lost in the arbitrariness of the moment.

The workshop will be held in German.
